Flood Stage 2005

I guess it was exciting, I took pictures.  Looking back I think we were lucky there was not some  significant damage. The dam must have been the cause of the  torrent not the  rain. I  think the DPW had  and has no expertise in regulating dam flows. The dam should be removed.

Castor canadensis

The call  has  gone out for more pictures of the drawdown, so I went  out for few snaps this am. I was on a spit of land with the Exeter River on one side  and a draining swale on the other. The River side muddy bank was loaded with  animal tracks.  Raccoons  seem to be [...]

I read this  draft  this morning. I found a mistake. The Town reservoir does not  empty into Wheelwright  and then the Exeter  River. It’s the Squamscott River. Small point  you say? Please replay the tapes to  me to prove the discussion has ever paid more than  lip service to Great Bay.
A couple of bullets, mine.

The dam [...]

The party season  is almost upon us and with  it , “oops”. I figure you use Resolve  Carpet  Cleaner, I did. I was in Shaws  with my Aunt and   grabbed this product. It had the  industrial look to it, 5.00 bucks, 30 years in business. It’s  unbelievable. So if you sweat having parties or  want to [...]
